Soccer by Ives is reporting that US U-20 and Miami FC’s Gale Agbossoumonde is in serious negotiations with Sporting Braga to join the club on loan on Nov. 17, when he turns 18. At 6′2 and 185 pounds, Agbossoumonde is expected to join the club’s youth team.

Soccer by Ives is reporting that Luis Gil’s move to Arsenal has not been completed. Gil has received interest from other European clubs and is looking to turn his trip to the U-17 World Cup into a new contract.

Extra Footie is reporting that Fulham are interested in buying Brek Shea from FC Dallas for £2 million. Good for him. I know he’s a top prospect for the USA and Dallas, but I was pretty unimpressed with his performance at the u-20 world cup.

My issue here isn’t with Ike Opara’s new haircut. I think it looks pretty sharp. My problem is with the blond joker who’s sporting the John-Harkes-circa-1990 hairdo. Is that cool now? I feel like I’m back on my U-12 team.
