New Charlie Davies interview on Sochaux website

FCSochaux.fr have posted a new interview with Charlie Davies. Sounds like he’s continuing to progress very quickly.

“I made the progression I expected and I had hoped for by coming here. Everything is coming along.”

“I definitely feel that I’m able to get back towards the end of April. I feel really confident that I’ll be back to myself as far as physical able to run, cut, shoot and do everything that I could before. Right now it’s just continuing day by day.”

Jermaine Jones sets World Cup goal

Soccer By Ives is reporting that Jermaine Jones has set a goal of playing in the World Cup with the United States. Jones is still experiencing pain in his leg, but believes he can return in time for the cup. “The World Cup is my goal. I want to jump on this train.”

Sebastian Lletget making progress at West Ham

Soccernet has a good article about 17-year-old American Sebastian Lletget, who currently plies his trade at West Ham. Sounds like he’s doing well and could make his debut this year.

According to scout Mike Leigh, West Ham super scout Jimmy Hampson once told him that Lletget is the best 14-year-old to ever play for the famed club. Keep in mind, West Ham has developed, among others, Frank Lampard and Joe Cole.

Ricardo Clark returned to training for Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday. Hopefully, we’ll see him in a match in a couple of weeks. Does this mean he’ll make the roster for the friendly with the Netherlands?
